The Bicycle Animation
If you would like to own a laser cut Bicycle Animation design please go to www.etsy.com/shop/katybeveridge1. These are not visible with the naked eye, it must be filmed to animate. This is a piece created to question whether it was possible to film animation in realtime. Part of my CSM 3rd year disseration project I was looking at proto animation (really early basic animation) in contemporary design. I've taken a lot of influence from other contemporary designers who are using these techniques to explore the way we look at animation and how its made. As stated on my channel I have interviewed animators such as Jim le Fevre and in my research referenced other people using this technique such as David Wilson and Tim Wheatley who did this before me. I developed this project based on what is being done in animation right now as well as a lot of primary research into the history of animation techniques. Big Thanks to my friend Stefan Neidermeyer who did the sound. The soundtrack is made up of various bike noies recorded during the filming process which Stef then remixed to make the amazing soundtrack. Michael Jackson "Thriller" Animation
Update info 2012/ Feb 3 To the People who love Michael Jackson and also have watched or followed the "Thriller Animation". As a big fan of Michael Jackson, me and my fellows are appreciated about the people who give us comments and showing the love to this animation. We will keep up our passion and creating high quality animation. There is a lot of questions raised up about why I am using a Monkey to represent Michael on this "Thriller Animation", This is totally nothing related with any kind of Discrimination or Racism. The reason why I pick Monkey is just because MJ has a chimpanzee as his pet named Bubbles. Michael also bought Bubbles with him for his Japan Tour. This give me a huge impact, therefore I create a Monkey character for the MJ animation just to show my respect and love of MJs music and work. It's just that simple. Just like one of his song: I Said If You're Thinkin' Of Being My Baby It Doesn't Matter If You're Black Or White The only thing we are all in common is that we all love Michael. Love and Peace. Dot. The world's smallest stop-motion animation character shot on a Nokia N8
Professor Fletcher's invention of the CellScope, which is a Nokia device with a microscope attachment, was the inspiration for a teeny-tiny film created by Sumo Science at Aardman. It stars a 9mm girl called Dot as she struggles through a microscopic world. All the minuscule detail was shot using CellScope technology and a Nokia N8, with its 12 megapixel camera and Carl Zeiss optics. Amazing Fire Animation!
brusspup t-shirts! brusspup.spreadshirt.com All I can say is ..this took over 2 weeks to do. A lot of fire, A lot of smoke, a lot of heat, and a whole lot of frustration. Some may not consider this an illusion. Heres the definition of illusion: something that deceives by producing a false or misleading impression of reality. The idea for this started when I was editing the behind the scenes footage for the Fire Illusion video. I sped up the footage of me blowing out the candles and it looked really cool to see the candles going from being lit to unlit so quickly ..and it hit me that the candles could be used as pixels. I spent a couple of weeks thinking about how involved it would be to do. My initial goal was to animate classic videos games, such as tetris, pong, pac-man and mario bros. After testing I realized mario bro's would be too hard and I gave up. I stuck with tetris, pong and pac-man but since those didnt take up much time I decided to include a few random shapes. The initial goal was to light each candle individually and blow it out according to the required movements of each shape. I soon realized that it was just not going to be practical. The main problem was keeping the flame consistent on the candles. Some candles would burn perfectly. Others would burn out quickly. I decided to take a different approach. I took a picture of all the candles unlit ..and then lit all the candles ..and took a picture of that. I know that some people will consider that <b>...</b>

Colin's Bear Animation
This is my friend Colin's bear animation. And this video is genius I can't stop laughing. So here you can laugh too. You have to listen to it with sound, and watch it twice cause the second time is way better. So this video was created by a third year Game Development student at UOIT. This is the final animation for an Animation Arts class. My friend Colin used all the techniques that were taught by this professor. And as you can see, he made the best animation with what was taught. Seriously, it's genius. The song is "Funky Monkey Dance" from Mother 3 This was not for an Animation program.
